We really enjoyed our stay at the Santa Paula Inn. This boutique hotel is so cute. Built in 1920, so it has lots of character. Regardless of the age, our room, a double queen suite, had new floor tile and the bathroom was new. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Our room had a wet bar, compact refrigerator and microwave. The location of this hotel is ideal. It's right off Main street, in a very walkable area behind a new cider establishment, Anna's Cider. After dinner we walked over from our room to enjoy live music. I really enjoyed the local art work in the hotel, the owner even had some beautiful pieces he made. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Atul was very accomodating. We had an issue with our AC, so he immediately got us moved to another room that was bigger, no charge. The place was charming amd quiet. Extremely clean. New renovations. We had a great time and would come back again.
Super charming hotel! It's in a historic building, so it feels more like a B&B, which was a pleasant surprise! Private lot for guest parking, secure keypad entry, & actual keys for the rooms themselves (lovely old-school nostalgic touch.) Rooms are unique because of the architecture & updated with modern amenities, so you get the best of both worlds. Clean, well cared for. Daily linens on request and comfortable beds. Complimentary continental breakfast & a picturesque courtyard to enjoy it. Close to everything but away from it all! Walking distance from a number of restaurants, shops, cafes, & more. Lively nightlife in the area even though it's a small place. Super convenient to everything Ventura has to offer. A hidden treasure & somewhere I've bookmarked for future visits.
Solid little hotel. Definitely small business slash family run operation, always better to give your money to these types of businesses, rather than the fat cats. Standard rooms aren't the biggest, but the price is reasonable. TV was a great size, just slightly janky set up. Fridge and microwave in the room. Air conditioner unit is tiny, but works fine. The shower was actually surprisingly spacious. Try not to arrive too late. It took us about 10-15 minutes to find someone to check us in after we arrived a little past midnight. Pet friendly+
Ana, who was the room service lady was beyond nice to us and always checked up on us to make sure we were all set. It’s right next to the main street which is a super cute walk, the rooms were massive which was perfect for us because we were staying for the week and needed space for our stuff, the owner was also really nice to us. Overall very pleased with our stay.
Staff was awesome. Food was good in the am. Room worked perfect. Ac was cold. The plants outside were amazing. If ya can get over a few small things, this place is solid. Classic and beautiful. Like I said, staff makes this place a real gem.
Santa Paula is such a beautiful place.. no need to go anywhere else... this town has charm and beauty of most others . I love the diversity and feel. The Santa Paula Inn is a historic treasure, it's so beautiful indoor and outdoors with its little sitting areas,in back. Peaceful and relaxing.. the check in and out was a breeze and the woman at the front desk was a blessing to meet . I LOVE THE SANTA PAULA INN. THANK YOU STAFF.
